This is a great shot that works perfectly in B/W. The composition, contrast, depth of tonal range, and sharp details contrasting against a blured background are spectacular.
I particularly like how the light is falling directly on the subjet flower and diminishes into the background...yet another great way to distinguish the star from the supporting actors.
